Restoration Details:
All old varnish layers were removed manually and with great precision, without the use of harsh chemicals. The final finish was applied only with natural materials—wood stains and waxes—that enhance the grain and natural warmth of the wood.
The seat has been reupholstered using traditional springs and webbing techniques, along with premium fabric featuring the legendary William Morris “Strawberry Thief” pattern.
